A bagel is a bread product, traditionally shaped by hand into the form of a ring from yeasted wheat dough, roughly hand-sized, which is first boiled for a short time in water and then baked. Bagels have become a popular bread product in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, especially in cities with large Jewish populations.

In Canada people from Toronto and Montreal pronounce it like bay-gel, (the Yiddish pronunciation)

Now Chef Frankie is showing you how to stuff your own bagel!

The ingredients you need to stuff one bagel are:

1 Bagel

1 1/2 Slices of Canadian Bacon

4 Eggs

1/4 Cup of  Minced Chives

1/4 Cup of Minced Fresh Parsley

1 Large Beefsteak Tomato

Whisk together the eggs in a small bowl.

Add the parsley and chives and mix well.

Add the egg mixture into a skillet and cook, like an omelet until done.

Using the same skillet, heat the Canadian Bacon until hot.

Toast the two half od the bagel.

Fold one half of the bagel with the eggs and the other half with a slice of tomato and with the Canadian bacon.

Et voilà, the Canadian Bagel by Chef Frankie!
